Can anything be done? “We’re working on it,” says Shere Abbott, the Director of Science of Sustainability at UT Austin. On Wednesday, October 29th, she will address just what scholars, governments, businesses, and communities are doing to curb what could well be a looming disaster.

In her multi-media presentation, “The Buzz and the Biz of Sustaining Our Planet,” Abbott will walk through what needs to be done, what is being done, and how much time we have to do it. If you are concerned about the planet, do not miss this one. Michael Ronan, English, will introduce the speaker.
