We read about the layoffs yet are told that Houston’s job market is better than most other city’s. What prospects do our students have? What jobs are out there? Pandora’s Box presents Lilly Chu of the Houston Better Business Bureau to discuss “Life after School” on Wednesday, September 30. The director of programming for the HBBB will appraise students of the job landscape and give them a practical look at the prospects and possibilities facing them after graduation. Criminal Justice professor Rudy Hardy will introduce the speaker.

Pandora’s Box Welcomes Disaster (Speakers!)
What steps should be taken in the face of a hurricane or other natural disaster?
What precautions will and won’t prevent infection during the H1N1 (swine) flu pandemic? Get the answers to these and other related questions on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 15 and 16 when Pandora’s Box Continuing Education class presents two separate programs on disaster readiness.
